Our Founding
Founded in 2002 by a husband-and-wife team, our pediatric practice is grounded in the belief that children thrive best when medical care feels personal, compassionate, and family-centered. For over two decades, we have been proud to partner with parents and caregivers to support the health, growth, and well-being of children from infancy through adolescence in the Loudoun and Fairfax County areas. To further enhance our commitment to families, we also offer after-hours care and adhere to a thoughtful vaccine policy to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young patients.
Vaccine Policy
Our pediatric practice is committed to providing evidence-based care and follows the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) immunization guidelines to ensure the highest level of safety and care for our patients. To help protect all children—especially infants and those with medical vulnerabilities—we require families in our practice to adhere to the recommended vaccine schedule. We do not recommend alternative vaccination schedules, including delaying or breaking apart vaccines. Families who choose not to vaccinate may be advised to transfer care to a practice that better aligns with their preferences, as our vaccine policy requires adherence to the recommended schedule. Additionally, we offer after-hours care to ensure that all patient needs are met promptly.
After-Hours Care
At Sterling Pediatrics, our pediatric practice ensures you have access to one of our providers for after-hours care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, we kindly ask that you reserve after-hour calls for emergencies only.
Additionally, Sterling Pediatrics has partnered with Board-Certified Pediatricians at Hello Pediatrics, a dedicated after-hours, emergency, virtual pediatric telemedicine service. Appointments are available during the following hours, including weekends and holidays!

Insurance
As of April 1st, 2015, Sterling Pediatrics, now part of the Loudoun Medical Group, is committed to providing comprehensive after-hours care alongside our pediatric practice. We accept most insurance plans; however, please call your insurance provider to verify that our providers participate with your plan. Additionally, we have a clear vaccine policy to ensure the health and safety of your children.
